Parental involvement
Alphabet Kindergarten considers that a good collaboration between kindergarten and family is always achieved in the child’s best interest and comes to form around them a constant and coherent educational community. The educational community is a supportive environment for educators and a secure environment for the child, allowing the personal development of all its members (both adults and children).
- showing understanding and openness toward the behaviors of all children and the inherent events of group life (children may push, argue, and learn less pleasant things from one another—which is not a reason for public parental intervention);
- being open to the parent community and building collaborative relationships with other parents
DAILY MEDICAL CHECK-UPS PROVIDED BY PEDIATRIC SPECIALISTS
Children undergo medical screening every morning, and it is recommended that those who temporarily pose a risk to the health of others be kept out of the group. If, during the daily medical check at the kindergarten entrance, signs of illness are detected, the parent is required to take the child home.
The parent must communicate any changes in the child’s health condition when the child is not at kindergarten, so that additional attention can be given to their overall health upon their return.
If the child has a contagious illness, even if they are not brought to kindergarten, the parent must inform the kindergarten management.
ITEMS NEEDED FOR THE CHILD'S BACKPACK
– diapers if still used;
– a change of clothes / pajamas;
– lightweight indoor footwear (preferably with non-slip soles);
– a water bottle / preferred baby bottle;
– if desired, a specific type of cream for irritation
